These are all backlit awnings. Backlit awnings mean we use a translucent fabric with an opaque coating on it. We will use masks to remove the opaque coating (the blue, green, and red colors), exposing the translucent fabric underneath. Then, when the light shines from behind, that area glows. If we need to use color, we apply a translucent sticker to the translucent area. The process of removing the ink/color is called eradication.
