Hale Koa Entrance awning. Aluminum awning frame with Sunbrella Firesist for main cover and TEextilene 90% mesh for ceiling panels. The projection of 8′ required truss rafters. The concern then was that birds would have a place to hang out and relieve themselves in cars waiting to enter. The solution was a removable ceiling panel. The size of the panels required intermediate supports. There is a total of 6 ceiling panels.
